I guess most people will carry on as if its just another day...I'll be doing the same...It's best to keep your wits about you and enjoy yourself as usual because whether it ends on the 21st or any other day there is nothing you can do about it...

The Mayans didn't include leap year, so really this "event" happened about a year ago.
Also, they never said it was the end of the world.

Actually the mayan calender is more accurate then ours, but there is a short and long version so either way which do you believe

Mayans believed in cycles. Everything repeats itself. There was no end of the world for them as people know it today. The calendar was merely one cycle divided into smaller parts.

I legitimately use Facebook as a way to keep in touch with old friends who have been sent away by the military. Just so happens not everyone does, and some use it to be annoying.

The leap years came with the Roman calendary, but the days are still counted the same way.
