Roxio Video Wave 9 - I seem to have a habit of using programs that no one else uses. I dunno why. I dont use PS, I use Paint Shop Pro. I dont use fraps, I use ZD Soft.. the list goes on and on.

ZD Soft for recording, and for editing I'm going to try out Nero 8 Ultra Edition's video editing program.
