					| I read a article on this other thread (same section as this thread) and I just wanted to take a poll.
 What is addiction?(eh-dik-shen)
Addiction is the compulsive and psychological need for a habit forming substance; the condition of being habitually or compulsively occupied with or involved in something.

What are the signs of gaming addiction?

1)PC/Video game use characterized by intense feelings of pleasure and guilt.
2)Obsessed and pre occupied about being on pc- even when disconnected.
3)Hours playing increasingly, seriously disrupting family, work, social life.
 4)Lying about pc game use
5)Feelings of withdrawal, anger, depression when not on or when uninvolved with game.
6)Large phone or credit card bills because of online service.
7)Fantasy life replaces emotional life with partner.

 I got 3 out of 7.

EDIT---Forum error. There was a 4th option saying "Im not even close" but it didnt add.

					| You have to add the option before you submit the post. If you just type it in, it won't work. _________________

					| If I'm not an addict, I don't think I'll sit for 4-5 hours a day. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Just not very productive. I meet a lot of nice people and the game takes my mind off the real life stuff. Sometimes I can vend my frustration out in game. It's hellovalot better than creating troubles in society.
 *Hi I'm Rom and I'm a game addict. I score 3/7.*

					| Addicted.
I could completely identify with the one where you want to be online when your not.

I usually count the minutes until 2:55pm when school gets out.

Then I fly down the hill and into the train station.

If I time it right, I can cross 4 miles in 15 minutes using a complex system of shortcuts and hedge jumps.

All to get back to the computer.

I also spend 5-7 or MORE hours on the computer on a weekday, and 16-20 hours on a weekend.

 I'm not ashamed of it.
