					| When you have a lot of disposable income this kind of stuff happens. If you are single, no kids, and getting 100k+ a year yeah 16k isn't a enormous amount for something he is probably very passionate about. _________________

I wish I made 100k a year ;_; year1buy -stingray -lots of virtual hats -12 new computers with 4monitors in 3D each -nvidia house insurance -And lunch with Gaben Even though 16k is quite the considerable amount of money, but for a hobby? People would go the extra mile for it. Just for an example you'll see a bunch of cars that are worked on as projects that end up costing far more than the amount just to get it done by a professional._________________

					| But he doesn't actually own the sword. The entire game is a property of the publisher, so yeah. They can choose to give everyone that sword for free later, then he's gonna be pissed and won't be able to get the money back. _________________

					| Well I'm almost speechless...16Gs up front on a virtual item that you don't own.... And he did it when the game wasn't even released yet....I wonder if they would have given him his money back if the game failed to release....Probably not... Talk about disposable income.... _________________

					| I think I've spent close to $2,000 on mmorpgs over a 7 year period. That's not too bad in my opinion. I did at least enjoy what I paid for at the time... But I don't think these online mmorpgs deserve a $2,000 up front payment for anything...and with the prospect of getting more as the game progresses...no fking way... _________________

The game that probably took the most of my money was either SRO something around $400 over the course of 3 years i think it was or Aion where it's something around $350+including original $50 box._________________
