 Post subject: Masteries for the 90 cap PURE INT

im thinking about Lite 90 bicheon 90 ice 90 30 fire/heuksal (if i ever dlvl fire to 0)

would that suck alot? i mean the ice buff is just way too good to pass it.. inmunity vs pure strs


well my build would be (for the 80 cap) 80 bicheon 80 lite 70 fire 60 ice..

then i would just delelvel fire to 30 and lvl ice..

good idea?

You'll need 90 light no matter what your build is, without that you won't be as fast as anyone else which means you can never run away if your mobbed, weapon everyone will need 90 for the skills and damages and then your just left with a choice of ice or fire, depending on your build it's probably wisest to have ice for int and fire for str as those trees are more useful for those builds, the fire tree with the exception of the nukes is very much an str tree, physical dmg buffs, mag defense buffs, more imbue dmg, fire wall etc where ice works the same way for ints, which offers all the protection you need, when they add the new skills it's gonna all be about balancing what you lack with the right trees, ints lack phy defense so the ice tree is perfect, you won't need the fire tree cuz the new light nukes and new ice rain will do enough dmg, just level fire to 30 for the shield immunity buff, just means it's slightly harder to make the immunes, but since 100% immunity has been fixed on jsro and ksro the isro version will have it sooner or later anyway.

Besides without an ice wall you'll never be able to solo any str's your own level, they'll save your ass everytime.

so i guess its 90 lite 90 bich 90 ice 30 fire or heuksal for hp at the cap...



btw.. will it take alooot of time to delevel a lvl 70 fire mastery?

Yeah that's what I'd go for.

It depends how many skills you have maxed in it, for a fully maxed lvl 70 fire tree it's about 2000 curst hearts lol, what I'd do though is use the item mall scrolls to get them down to about 55-60 so you save all the big amounts of sp and then curst heart the rest down to 30.

hmm i guess i wont take the inmunitty buff over 30.. and just get the nukes and imbue...

I've never noticed much dmg difference in imbues other than the status effects and I've tried all 3 maxed at 69, it's just as easy to kill a monster with your normal skills using a lvl 5 ice imbue than it is with a lv 69 fire one, sounds odd but try grinding with a book 1 imbue and there's barely any difference, quite a nice way to save on pots, I like ice imbue the best, works great on monsters and has by far the best status effect, also when they finally fix the immunity bug and people can only get 80% immune maximum, you'll be really annoying and hard to beat with it in pvp too, cuz they'll just be frozen all the time.

strange ... i c a difference ... very significant difference, pure ints or str ... the difference is obvious to me.

Not for me, I can 1 shot mages with book 1 ice imbue same as I can with book 4, the dmg with all imbues vary across a range, sometimes it's more than others, can't see much of a difference really though.

Did they really fixed the immunity, we can't be immune anymore?

I know they definately did on jsro and I heard ksro's was fixed not long ago. If you highlight the skill it's meant to be a status effect reduce and not a % reduce, so even when it's maxed and you get a 78 status effect reduce off a 158 status effect, rather than taking off 78%, it'll just take off 78 leaving them with an effect of 88, which even with 20% reduce on all 4 jewels means you'll still get affected. Which is how it should be, why have all the ice freezing skills if they can become useless or the imbue which is supposedly weaker, maybe slightly weaker which is why the status effect is better, it's to compensate for the lower dmg, it all balances out, it will be great when they do fix it.

ya, finally my ice archer can be useful.

but do the 80% reduce work first or the sheild, cause if its minus 80% first, you could still be immune. :( :(

No say your effect was 158 and they had 78 reduce on their shield and 80% on their jewels, your 158 effect is automatically reduced to 88 because of their shield buff and then their jewels will only counter 80% of the remaining effect, so whatever 80% off 88 is, which means no matter what they do the effect will still work, even if it's a small one, any frozen effect is enough to cancel their skills though.
